A pleasant shiver went through her at his words, both from what he'd said and how he'd said it. His voice definitely did something for her. Saffron just had time to smile in response before Eames was kissing her, a kiss she returned in earnest, her hands sliding up his arms.
When they finally broke the kiss for much needed air, she smiled again, her lips still close to his. "Did I mention it's my birthday today?" she said softly as she wound her arms around his neck. "Happy birthday to me."
"Is it, now?" Eames asked against her mouth, honestly curious, one eyebrow raising slightly. Whether it was true or just a line she used, though, didn't much matter to him; he would have wanted to make where this was inevitably heading good all the same. Other hand moving to her back so his arms were circling her waist, he smiled in turn. "Well, I suppose it's a good thing we ran into each other, then," he said, certain even as he said so that it was an understatement, though he wasn't going to think about how she'd found him. "We'll have to do something to celebrate."
